Instead of waiting for you to ask, Pulse proactively sends curated updates on the topics you care about—like global news, financial markets, or sports—directly into your inbox or chat app. According to OpenAI, Pulse combines real-time data with your saved preferences, so the summaries feel more like a personal news assistant than a search tool. TechCrunch reports that this is part of a push to make ChatGPT more “autonomous and anticipatory” in how it serves information.
