Big Takeaway: At Ycombinator W24 Kickoff OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recommended developers build “with the mindset GPT-5 and AGI will be achieved "relatively soon.”
Specifically, GPT-5 is expected to eliminate most of the limitations that still exist with GPT-4.
Y Combinator founder Richard He noted that GPT-5 will bring in dramatic improvements to GPT-4 but did not provide any concrete details about the enhancements.
Some people are predicting GPT-5 in 2024 and possibly AGI by 2025.

Buyers include military bodies, AI institutes, and universities, a majority of which are subject to US bans for military affiliations.
They have purchased small batches of top-of-the-line A100 and H100 chips as well as the slower A800 and H800 chips.
