The Edge: OpenAI reportedly aims to launch an advanced multimodal AI system codenamed Gobi to beat Google's Gemini release.

The Edge: Elon Musk said in a livestream that Twitter/X, will charge a monthly fee to combat bot armies.
He did not disclose the pricing or features of the paid subscription plan.
Musk claimed X now has 550 million monthly users, generating 100–200 million posts daily.
Musk has made a number of controversial changes to Twitter this year, and this may be the biggest. But a paid subscription will just further restrict reach for non-paying users.
