Big Takeaway: Yesterday, a Reddit user leaked the apparent pricing information for GPT-4.5 from a private URL.
It was quickly removed from the OpenAI subreddit, but not before it sparked huge speculation, and when Sam Altman was asked if the leak was confirmed, he said, “Nah.” (Comment here)
OpenAI also released their first superalignment research paper.(Paper here)
The paper studies an analogy using small AI models to supervise larger, more capable models. This tests if weak supervision can elicit strong performance. (For Visual learners)
A GPT-2 model supervised GPT-4 to reach near GPT-3.5 levels on NLP benchmarks, despite GPT-2 being much less capable. This demonstrates the concept of "weak-to-strong generalization."

Big Takeaway: Yesterday, Agility showcased their work integrating large language models into their bipedal robot, “Digit.” (Video here)
In the demo, Digit was given information about an environment with towers and boxes but no specifics on tasks. Then it received instructions in natural language to carry out, such as moving a box with a color description to the tallest tower.
Digit executes tasks slowly, but as described in the natural language prompts.
This demo shows LLMs could make robots more versatile, faster to deploy and shows that natural language communication with robots is viable.
