🚨 Breaking AI News

To help climate scientists efficiently explore the massive amounts of raw satellite data, NASA, IBM, and Hugging Face are collaborating to build an open-source geospatial AI model. What does that mean?
Good question, The AI model will be able to track deforestation, predict crop yields, detect greenhouse gases, and more. NASA is estimating a quarter million terabytes of new data by 2024.
This will be Hugging Face's biggest geospatial model and the first open-source Earth science AI. According to NASA, this model will be critical for accelerating climate change solutions

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has again expressed concern about the impacts of the AI technology he is helping build. This time, he is worrying that high-quality synthetic media could be a powerful and damaging force in swaying future elections.
There have already been AI generated political attacks and there will be many more to come. But it's hard to take his warnings seriously considering he profits from his tech…
He admits raising awareness is “better than nothing” and wants ideas on addressing the issue.
Poll Time! Does Altman really care about the risk of AI miss-information?

🏡 AI Values Your Home - MIT Lab Study
Real estate bots can now predict prices using visual AI to analyze images and data. This expanding technology could be valuable, but it risks entrenching biases and incentivizing superficial changes to game algorithms. While the multiplication of bots could help, human oversight remains critical to interpreting the limitations of what silicon eyes show and envisioning improvements. (Full article here)
💳 Tesla AI Could Reach Trillion Dollar Club
Tesla stock has slumped but its AI focus with the Dojo supercomputer may spark a rebound. Dojo aims to boost autonomous driving capabilities beyond humans. Improved autonomy could enable lucrative licensing deals. Though AI revenue is nascent, strong auto sales growth puts $1 trillion valuation within reach. With AI potentially warranting a higher multiple, Tesla could surpass $1 trillion on its autonomy ambitions. (Full article here)
🇯🇵 SoftBank to Develop Japanese Version of GPT

Chat GPT Prompt: Language Proficiency
Use this set of custom instructions to get ChatGPT to talk like a human.
Custom instructions are for ChatGPT Plus subscribers and can be turned on in settings
🔏 Copy and paste the prompt below ⏬
Box 1: I want you to respond in a way that is understood by the general public I am not an expert so do not talk as one.
Box 2: Your answers must be precise and consistent but in a way that readers with a college level of knowledge can understand the text. Explain to someone who only has a general knowledge. Here is an example ⬇️

Daily Definition
Geospatial
'Geospatial' refers to data or information that is associated with a specific physical location on the Earth's surface. Think of it like the GPS coordinates on your phone, which determine where you are, or satellite images that show specific areas of our planet. It's all about the 'where' aspect of data.
In the realm of AI, geospatial data can be particularly valuable. AI algorithms can be trained to analyze this type of data to perform tasks such as identifying patterns in land use, predicting traffic flows in real-time, or even helping in disaster management by predicting flood zones.
Imagine a drone equipped with cameras flying over a forest area. The images it captures are geospatial data. With the help of AI, we can analyze these images to determine, for example, the health of the forest, potential fire zones, or the habitats of certain animal species.
