Big Takeaway: Microsoft is working on new versions of the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop, reportedly being the first true AI PCs.
The new Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 will have special chips called neural processing units to handle AI tasks.
They will come in both Intel and Arm versions. The Arm versions will use Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon X chips.
The Arm chips are designed for the next Windows release with enhanced AI abilities. They will match Apple's performance in speed, battery life, and security.

With a $4.5 billion valuation, Hugging Face has over 2 million AI developers who use it to build models, workflows, and products. It has users from over 20,000 organizations.
There are over 1 million AI models, datasets, and apps that have been shared on Hugging Face. Across all different industries.
The recent drama at OpenAI caused some organizations to look for alternative sources for AI models. Open source means not relying on one company to control the future of AI.
My Thoughts: In comparison to closed models like ChatGPT, Hugging Face appears to offer a number of notable benefits with the greatest being decentralization. But maintaining quality at scale and guarding against misuse won't be simple. If they are successful and implement AI in to hundreds of companies they could change the AI sector for the better.

🛻 This may be the first ever Cybertruck crash
Outside of San Jose, California, a Cybertruck and another vehicle were involved in a head-on collision yesterday. The Cybertruck took very minimal damage, while the other car was completely totaled. (See here), It is unknown if it was in full self-driving mode at the time of the accident.
👥 Dell Partners with AMD to enhance AI servers
Dell has added a new AMD-powered server, the PowerEdge XE9680, to its high-performance computing portfolio for AI workloads. The server highlights Dell's expanded focus on open standards for networking and AMD-powered options beyond just Nvidia. (Full article here)
