Big Takeaway: The Writers Guild of America reached an agreement with studios after a 5-month strike, securing wins like better pay but vague terms on AI use.
The agreement states AI can't write or rewrite literary material, or be considered a writer, a key WGA demand.
Writers can access AI tools if studios allow, and must be told if working with AI-generated content.
But there is no outright ban on studios training AI on writers' work, only reserving the right to claim exploitation.
