OpenAI’s ChatGPT has leveled up with a powerful suite of business features, aiming to become more than just a chat tool. It can now record and transcribe meetings, pull files from Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, SharePoint, and OneDrive, and help generate documents from action items. This turns your meeting notes into time-stamped, queryable records—a real memory system for your team. And because it respects existing access permissions, ChatGPT knows who can see what.
More importantly, ChatGPT now integrates with business tools like HubSpot, Linear, and parts of Microsoft and Google’s ecosystems through a new beta version of its Deep Research tool. It can automatically pull structured insights from across systems to help build reports, conduct analysis, or generate customer-ready outputs. Work that once lived in meetings, docs, and dashboards can now happen in a single conversational interface. These connectors are available to all paying users, with more advanced Model Context Protocol (MCP) support for Pro, Team, and Enterprise tiers.
OpenAI COO Brad Lightcap says the company has already reached 3 million enterprise subscribers, up from 2 million earlier this year.
