🚨 Breaking AI News

Google wants to give people like you and me more control over our personal data. And to accomplish this, they’ve introduced “Machine unlearning.”
Machine learning is a crucial part of AI; it provides solutions to issues, like generating new content, forecasting outcomes, or resolving complex questions. However, it brings its share of setbacks, like data misuse, cybercrime, and data privacy issues.
Google's goal is to instill "selective amnesia" in its AI systems. Which would allow the AI to erase specific data without compromising their efficiency.
The competition will take place from mid-July to mid-September. If you want to participate, you can access the starter kit here.

The Humane AI Pin is the first product from Humane, a startup established by former Apple executives. It’s the first AI wearable designed to be invisible and blend with clothing.
Humane's CEO, Imran Chaudhri, described the AI Pin as a device designed to allow people to be more in the moment and less attached to their screens. It will be available in the next six months.
It is designed to blend with your clothing items and have the power of your iPhone. If you want to learn more, watch the Ted Talk (14 minutes) and get a full presentation of the “Ai Pin.”

Chat GPT Prompt: Advanced prompt for Q&A
Sometimes it is hard to get ChatGPT to spit out the correct answer. But with this Q&A prompt, you can enable ChatGPT to be precise with your answers.
🔏 Copy and paste the prompt below ⏬
As an advanced, highly intelligent question-answering AI, my primary function is to provide accurate responses to your queries. Should your question be based on verifiable facts, you can expect a concise, well-informed answer from me. However, if your question is nonsensical, intended to trick or confuse, or lacks a clear or factual answer, my response will simply be 'Unknown'. My programming emphasizes factual accuracy and clarity, aiming to provide useful and reliable information in response to your questions. Here’s a link to the results ⬇️
Daily Definition
Machine unlearning
'Machine Unlearning' is a process by which a machine learning model is made to forget or disregard specific data from its training set. Why would we want a model to forget something it has learned, you might ask? The main reasons are related to privacy and data security.
Consider a scenario where a model was trained using some sensitive data that, for legal or ethical reasons, it should no longer have access to. In this case, rather than retraining the entire model from scratch without that sensitive data (which would be resource-intensive), we can use machine unlearning to make the model 'unlearn' or forget the information associated with the sensitive data.
A practical example might be a recommendation algorithm for a movie streaming service. If a user deletes their history or leaves the platform, machine unlearning can be used to ensure the model forgets that user's data and doesn't use it for future recommendations. Or Google’s very own Machine unlearning challenge!
