🚨 Breaking AI News

AI is starting to have a big impact on the music business, which represents a big change in how we make, use, and listen to music. Shown by the recent AI generated "final Beatles song", demonstrating its ability to mimic distinct musical styles.
While fake uploads using synthesized voices overwhelm digital service providers, the pace of AI music production makes it difficult for artists to monitor its use. Popular artists such as Drake and Ariana Grande have taken down tens of songs with their voices mimicked.
Copyright laws face limitations when applied to AI music. Training AI systems on copyrighted music raises complex legal questions around authorization. Only time will tell how AI really impacts all sectors of entertainment.

Amazon has announced the launch of 2 new health-focused AI services - AWS HealthScribe and AWS HealthImaging.
AWS HealthScribe uses natural language processing (NLP) to generate clinical notes from conversations between doctors and patients. It can transcribe discussions, identify key medical details, and create summaries that can be incorporated into electronic health records.
AWS HealthImaging focuses on storing, analyzing, and transforming medical imaging data to try to reduce costs and provide faster access.
These new services are part of Amazon’s initiative into AI related health care services. The AI’s goal is to reduce the documentation burden for clinicians; not to take their jobs.

Daily Definition
Natural language generation (NLG)
'Natural Language Generation' (NLG) is a subfield of artificial intelligence (AI) that involves the transformation of data into human-readable text. It's a core component of the broader field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), which encompasses how computers understand, interpret, and generate human language.
So how does NLG work? At a high level, an NLG system takes structured data as input - say, numerical data from a spreadsheet - and converts it into natural language text. For instance, it could take sales data and generate a summary report that says, "Sales increased by 15% this quarter compared to the same quarter last year."
One common example of NLG technology that many of us interact with daily is the 'auto-suggest' function on our smartphones or email platforms. As you start typing, the system generates possible completions for your sentence, aiming to predict what you want to say based on the words you've already typed.
